Our Story
It all began with a vision. After earning technical qualifications in 1977 and spending nearly six years gaining professional experience, including two years abroad - Mr Shirish Karnik founded United Engineers in 1984 in Pune. From day one, the focus was unwavering: deliver hydraulic components and systems that engineers could trust.
Over the years, that trust grew into a reputation. Our components became integral to machines in Earth Moving, Locomotive, Industrial, and Defence applications, valued by both end users and OEM customers for their reliability and precision. To meet growing demand and expand our capabilities, Oleosys Private Limited was formally incorporated in May 2022, carrying forward the same values that defined four decades of excellence, now with a sharper focus on customised solutions and modern manufacturing.
We are a Lean Cluster Programme implementer, a member of the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, holders of a consistent SME 1 Rating, and proud recipients of an Appreciation Letter from DRDO, Government of India.
